I say to myself, I hear others rant about it in the halls, in classrooms, at home, around town. Why does school suck? This is one of those life long questions that no one ever seems to figure out. Can anyone answer this question? Has school/college been designed this way? Designed to discourge people from learning and successfully taking in information and applying it to their life? When do you ever apply anything from school to your life besides simple math(addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and english. Or is all this information we’re gathering in small boxes for hours on end really pointless at the end of the day. I sit in class bored to death listen to a teacher who probably doesnt want to be here either. Where does this all really apply? When will I need triganomerty? When will you need to know world history when your sitting behind a desk at a seven to five job listening to your boss pressure you for those weekly reports about where the money went for his yaht. Yes we can use this information on game shows but in the real world do you really need to know the square root of t(a/2)/n? Can you ever really use this information to advance your career? Maybe, if your an accountant!
I am a film major and I’m on my fourth year of college and I must take so many advanced hours of classes that are pointless to my major. Why must I do this, there is no relevance. Yes I learn a thing or two but are those things really that significant and life changing? Plus it cost money to learn this stuff. Do I really need to pay so many thousands of dollars to learn life lesson that I could learn on my own?

It suddenly got really cold today. I’m not a big fan of cold weather especially when one day it is hot and humid, and the next it is cold and rainy. That is one of the cons of living in Texas.
For those that may have wondered, we are still alive. The zombies haven’t gotten to us yet. I did see one at TCU today, luckily I pulled some ninja skills on it. You can never mess with the ninja. He’s fierce.
Filming of Episode One began today. We had a few issues early on with a camera but the problems were soon worked out and filming began. Schedule fell a little behind but we feel confident about tomorrow’s shoot and believe we can get it all finished by the end of the day. All in all things seem to be going well.
